Hello there! Welcome to my small nook in the food blogosphere.
I’m a, more or less, self-taught, home baker/cook. I’ll generally cook or bake and try anything once. Sometimes twice.
Or in the case of French Macarons, as many times as it takes. You’d think being part French would help with making macarons but noooo. Either that or they don’t like the other part of me that’s German. Who knows. Or you know, the Portuguese, Irish, Scottish, or Welsh parts of me. My ancestors got around apparently.
Anyway, I’m a tangent loving blogger that tries to keep to the topic at hand and pawn off my baked goods on my boyfriend, who is in the Marine Corps, and his family and other unsuspecting souls.
I am currently a student at Sacramento State University in California where I study Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. I like precise things. Which makes sense since I’m so anal when it comes to baking. My favorite drink is whiskey or bourbon, but I’m not adverse white wine or a good cheap college beer. Preferably with lime.
